This Privacy Policy explains how the Cyprus Step-by-Step mobile application, developed and operated by Nikita Glazkov under the developer name Biggemot Software, handles information.

Information collected by the developer
Cyprus Step-by-Step does not require user accounts and does not automatically send your questionnaire answers, checklist contents, reminders, or other locally stored task information to the developer.
The application does not use:
- user accounts or authentication;
- advertising or advertising identifiers;
- personalized advertising;
- crash-reporting services;
- precise device location, contacts, camera, or microphone data;
- a developer-operated backend or cloud service.
The application offers optional usage analytics, as described below.
Information stored locally
The application stores information locally on your device so that its task, checklist, questionnaire, and reminder features can work.
This local information may include:
- started task identifiers;
- answers selected in questionnaires;
- completed checklist step identifiers;
- reminder settings and scheduled times;
- local notification identifiers;
- information indicating whether notification permission has previously been requested;
- your analytics consent choice.
This locally stored information is used by the application on your device and is not sent to the developer as part of normal task, checklist, questionnaire, or reminder functionality.
Optional usage analytics
Cyprus Step-by-Step uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the application is used and to improve its usability and features.
Analytics collection is disabled by default. Usage analytics is collected only after you explicitly choose to share analytics in the application.
You can change this choice at any time using the Analytics control in the application. Disabling Analytics stops future analytics collection. You can use the application without enabling Analytics.
When Analytics is enabled, the application may send limited information about application usage, such as:
- screens and navigation paths used;
- questionnaire and checklist progress;
- search interactions;
- use of source links;
- reminder and notification interactions;
- Rate Us and feedback-entry interactions.
The application's custom analytics events do not include:
- task, scenario, category, question, checklist, or step identifiers;
- questionnaire answers;
- search queries;
- source URLs, domains, or titles;
- feedback message content or email addresses;
- exact reminder dates or times;
- location data;
- application account or user identifiers;
- arbitrary user-entered text.
Some analytics events may include small numeric progress values, such as the number of questions answered or checklist steps completed.
Google Analytics may generate and process technical analytics information, including an app-instance identifier used to distinguish an installation of the application, as well as application, device, session, and similar technical information.
Google provides Google Analytics for Firebase and processes analytics data on behalf of the developer under Google's applicable data-protection terms. Analytics data may be processed outside the EEA; where required, Google uses applicable data-transfer safeguards.
Google Analytics may also derive approximate geographic information, such as country, region, or city, from network information. Cyprus Step-by-Step does not request or collect precise GPS location for Analytics.
Cyprus Step-by-Step does not use analytics for personalized advertising. Android Advertising ID collection is disabled, and the iOS application does not include IDFA collection capability.
Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis for analytics processing is your consent.
Analytics retention
The Google Analytics property used by Cyprus Step-by-Step is configured with a two-month retention period for user-level and event-level analytics data. The retention period is not reset when a user becomes active again.
Google Analytics standard aggregated reports are not necessarily subject to the same retention setting and may remain available separately in aggregated form.
Backups and device transfer
Depending on your operating system, device manufacturer, account settings, and backup preferences, locally stored application information may be included in an operating-system backup or device-transfer process.
These backups are managed by the operating system and the relevant platform or device provider. They are not operated or accessed by the developer.
Reminders and notifications
The application may request permission to display notifications when you choose to create a reminder.
Reminders are scheduled and processed locally on your device. Cyprus Step-by-Step does not use remote push-notification services for reminders.
Email feedback
The application provides optional feedback and issue-reporting actions. Selecting one of these actions opens an external email application with a prepared email.
The application does not send the email automatically. Nothing is sent to the developer unless you choose to send the message from your email application.
Depending on where feedback is opened, the prepared email may include:
- the application name;
- the application language;
- a task identifier;
- a step identifier;
- text that you voluntarily add.
When you send an email, the developer may receive your email address, the message content, and the prepared technical identifiers. Your email provider and the recipient's email provider process the message according to their own terms and privacy policies.
Feedback content is not included in Google Analytics events.

Cyprus Step-by-Step contains links to official authorities, service providers, and other third-party websites.
These links are opened using an external application such as a browser. The application does not retrieve the content of those websites or receive browsing information back from them.
Third-party services may process information according to their own privacy policies. The developer is not responsible for their privacy practices or content.
Retention and deletion
Locally stored task information can be removed using the reset functionality available for each task. All locally stored application information can also be removed by clearing the application's data in device settings or by uninstalling the application.
Operating-system backups may retain a copy according to your backup provider's settings and retention rules.
Emails voluntarily sent to the developer may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to feedback, investigate an issue, and maintain relevant correspondence.
Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, and to withdraw consent.
You can withdraw analytics consent at any time using the Analytics control in the application. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of analytics processing that took place before consent was withdrawn.
Where the GDPR applies, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.
Children
Cyprus Step-by-Step is intended for adults managing relocation, residency, and administrative tasks. It is not designed for use by children.
Security
Local application information is stored within the application's private device storage and is protected by the security mechanisms provided by the operating system.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the application's features, analytics configuration, or data-handling practices change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
